Are my partner’s gifts tax-deductible?
Yes, we are a 501(c)3 organization, so all gifts and donations made to us are tax-deductible.

What is my employment status with Prepare Ministries?
Ministry workers are considered independent contractors (1099) who are self-employed and work on a contract basis.

What is the application process like?
Our application process includes a simple questionnaire, interview, and background check and is usually completed within 10 business days.

There will be a $60 fee for processing the application.

How do I process online gifts?
Ministry workers will have their own personal URL giving page that is custom designed by Prepare Ministries.

What payment methods do you accept?
We can accept gifts by any major credit card, electronic fund transfer (ACH), or traditional check.

Are there any fees associated with the service?
Yes, Prepare Ministries has a 6% administration fee for all gifts, although donors are given the opportunity to cover this fee for you.

Additionally, credit card companies have their own processing fees (listed below):

- ACH (e-check): 1.25%
- Check: 0%

Who is responsible for withholding taxes and social security?
Due to ministry workers being contract laborers (1099), the worker is 100% responsible for paying their own taxes. We recommend that you consult with your tax professional for specific advice on filing and setting aside federal income and social security tax.
What specific services are included?
Tax-Deductible Giving: Receive tax-deductible donations through an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) organization.

Robust Giving Software: Provide your donors with a quick, simple, and secure giving experience.

Real-Time Donation Tracking: Log in anytime to view up-to-the-minute donation details and history.
​
Customized Giving Links: Ministry workers have their own personal giving link that they can share in the partner development process.

Gift Summaries: Receive an automated email digest every time you receive a gift.
​
Partner-Covered Admin Fees: Give partners the option to cover administrative fees when setting up their giving --- currently, about 40% of partners choose this option.
Quality Customer Service: We will notify your partners of any missed gift and/or issue with payment processing and provide each member of your partnership team with a giving statement at the end of each year. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
How often will ministry workers be paid?
Ministry workers will be paid twice a month via direct deposit to their checking account. Payroll will be processed approximately on the 10th and 25th of each month subject to bank holidays.
What kind of ongoing support will ministry workers receive?
Ministry workers will receive ongoing resources and support for everything related to financial partnership, including online and in-person training, group and individual coaching, podcasts, newsletters and blogs. We want to see you encouraged and fully funded, able to serve with spiritual health and longevity.
